Marie is a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern at Houston Christian University. She brings more than a decade of experience serving children, adolescents, and families across educational, juvenile justice, and ministry settings.

Throughout her career, Marie has emphasized evidence-based practices, person-centered care, trauma-informed approaches, and culturally responsive support to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Marie is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to achieve meaningful growth.

Outside of her professional role, Marie has been married for 14 years and is the proud mother of two children and two beloved dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks in nature, traveling, and reading.
