Before pursuing training as a professional counselor, Elizabeth worked in foster and adoption advocacy—experience that continues to shape her attachment-focused, family-centered care today.

Ladybird is a Sheepadoodle and the official Happy Camper canine. Clients of all ages call Birdie “friend.”

Jorge is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with training and experience in Play Therapy, EMDR, and attachment-focused work.

Shelly earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She believes meaningful healing begins within a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and authenticity, where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

Marie is a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern at Houston Christian University. She brings more than a decade of experience serving children, adolescents, and families across educational, juvenile justice, and ministry settings.

Having lived in Texas for the past several years, I have come to appreciate the importance of community, connection, and supportive relationships. As a wife, mother of five, and graduate student, I understand that life can be both rewarding and challenging, and that our relationships often play a significant role in how we navigate those experiences.

Aarin's journey into counseling began with early life experiences that profoundly shaped their outlook on the world. These moments inspired a deeply rooted mission: to help others rebuild trust, discover lasting hope, and create meaningful lives that extend beyond their most difficult experiences. Aarin cares deeply about people, their unique worldviews, and the communities that shape them.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, and recently relocated to Houston, Texas, I bring a heartfelt dedication to enhancing the lives of others through compassionate support and valuable resources.

Jillian completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in trauma from Abilene Christian University. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jillian has held diverse professional roles, including as an active duty military member, oral medicine clinician-researcher with focus in head and neck cancer, and trauma-informed coach for physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.

As the Client Care Coordinator at Happy Camper Therapy, I work remotely from the Philippines to ensure that every individual and family who reaches out feels heard, supported, and cared for from their very first contact.
