    This setup removes the stress of transportation, supports consistency, and provides children with a safe, inviting space to process emotions and build skills right outside their front door.

  • Our Concierge Package offers a comprehensive, wraparound therapy experience designed for deep and lasting impact.

    Investment: $1,750–$2,250/month, depending on your therapist’s credentials and experience level.

    Rather than relying only on words, children use toys, games, stories, and art to express themselves. At Happy Camper, we use evidence-based play therapy techniques to support emotional regulation, behavior change, social-emotional learning, and trauma recovery.

  • Yes. We offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth for parent coaching, therapy for older children and teens (when clinically appropriate), and individual adult clients.

    Online sessions use our secure client portal and the Telo online playroom for developmentally appropriate child and family work.

    Telehealth is available in Texas, Idaho, and Michigan.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help people recover from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences.

    Through bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements), EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. It is widely used for PTSD, but also effective for anxiety, grief, chronic stress, and negative self-beliefs.

  • Yes, we offer limited after-school and weekend appointments, though they fill quickly.

    We also encourage families to consider daytime sessions—schools often allow excused absences for therapy, and children often return to class with improved focus, regulation, and academic engagement.

  • Yes—parent and caregiver involvement is an essential part of our approach.

    We also provide parent coaching via telehealth to deepen your toolbox and support progress at home.

    • Each mobile play therapy session includes 30 minutes of individual play therapy with the child
    • 15 minutes of directive skill-building with both the child and parent/caregiver present in the mobile therapy space
  • All sessions are 45–50 minutes, including mobile play therapy, parent coaching (telehealth), in-home family therapy, and individual counseling for teens and adults.

  • Session fees typically range from $65–$300 per session, depending on the type of service, setting (in-home, mobile office, nature-based, or telehealth), and your therapist’s credentials.

    We are happy to discuss rates for concierge packages, group therapy, and specialized formats during your discovery call.

  • We are in network with United Healthcare and Aetna.

    For other plans, we can often provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

  • We work with a variety of licensed professionals, each with unique training and supervision requirements.

    • LPC-S (Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor): Fully licensed with additional training and authorized to supervise LPC-Associates.
    • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor): Independently licensed to provide therapy.
    • LPC-Associate: Has completed a Master’s degree and is gaining hours under supervision.
    • LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker): Can provide therapy under supervision.
    • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker): Fully licensed for independent practice.
    • LCSW-S: Supervisor credential for LCSWs mentoring LMSWs.
    • Practicum Counselor: A graduate student in training, working under close supervision.
    • Intern Counselor: A graduate student in the final semesters of their graduate training.
  • RPT – Registered Play Therapist: advanced, specialized training in play therapy (150+ instruction hours, 350+ supervised practice hours, 35 hours of supervision by an RPT-S).

    RPT-S – Registered Play Therapist Supervisor: mentors therapists working toward RPT certification.

    EMDR Trained: completed the 50+ hour basic EMDRIA-approved training, including supervised practice.

    EMDR Certified: additional consultation, supervised experience, and demonstrated mastery (e.g., 20 hours consultation, 50+ EMDR sessions, 12+ hours continuing EMDR education—requirements evolve with EMDRIA).

    EMDR Consultant: an EMDR expert who mentors and supervises other EMDR-trained therapists.
