  • We support children, teens, and families across developmental stages. Play therapy is especially effective for younger children; teens and parents often participate in skill-building portions of sessions or separate coaching.

If you are unsure about fit for your child’s age, reach out—we are happy to discuss options.

  • In-home family therapy brings the therapist to your living space so the whole family can work on communication, routines, and connection where daily life actually happens.

It is included in our Concierge Package and can also be discussed as part of a customized plan.

  • Concierge Mobile Play Therapy is a premium, in-home service where a licensed therapist brings a fully equipped, child-friendly therapy office directly to your home in a customized mobile van.

This setup removes the stress of transportation, supports consistency, and provides children with a safe, inviting space to process emotions and build skills right outside their front door.

  • Our Concierge Package offers a comprehensive, wraparound therapy experience designed for deep and lasting impact.

Investment: $1,750–$2,250/month, depending on your therapist’s credentials and experience level.

    • 3 mobile child play therapy sessions per month
    • 3 telehealth parent coaching sessions
    • 1 in-home family therapy session
    • Academic consultation and school collaboration
    • Personalized treatment goals and progress tracking
    • In-home strategies and practical interventions
  • We especially welcome clients drawn to outdoor, play-based, or family-centered care. Many families find us when looking for more than a traditional office-only experience.

We are actively growing services in these areas:

    • Adult nature-based therapy and nature-assisted EMDR
    • Kids nature group therapy (including Campfire Kids & Teens)
    • Concierge child and family therapy (mobile office and in-home)
  • Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate counseling approach that helps children process big emotions, navigate relationships, and build coping skills using their natural language—play.

Rather than relying only on words, children use toys, games, stories, and art to express themselves. At Happy Camper, we use evidence-based play therapy techniques to support emotional regulation, behavior change, social-emotional learning, and trauma recovery.

  • Yes—parent and caregiver involvement is an essential part of our approach.

We also provide parent coaching via telehealth to deepen your toolbox and support progress at home.

    • Each mobile play therapy session includes 30 minutes of individual play therapy with the child

  • Yes, we offer limited after-school and weekend appointments, though they fill quickly.

We also encourage families to consider daytime sessions—schools often allow excused absences for therapy, and children often return to class with improved focus, regulation, and academic engagement.
