Divergent book and movie discussion — identity, belonging, and personal growth

About the event

July 9 · 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM · FREE community event · Ages 18+

Step into the world of Divergent for an evening of meaningful conversation, reflection, and community connection.

Guided by a Licensed Professional Counselor, this facilitated book and movie discussion will explore themes woven throughout the story—including identity development, belonging, fear, authenticity, family culture, and the many “parts” of ourselves we navigate in different environments.

Together, we’ll reflect on the emotional experiences within the story and how they may connect to our own lives, relationships, and personal growth journeys. Through storytelling and shared conversation, participants are invited into a thoughtful and supportive space for insight, curiosity, and human connection.

Whether you’ve read every page, watched the film, or are just curious about the themes—you’re warmly welcome.
