About the event
Experience a two-hour evening Japanese practice of forest bathing, paired with a gentle night hike beneath the full moon with Elizabeth Pennington, LPC-S, RPT-S, from 7:00–9:00 PM. Age limit: 13+
As dusk settles and the forest grows quiet, the moon begins its slow rise above the treeline: full, luminous, and waiting.
Join Elizabeth for a two-hour evening of forest bathing and a gentle night hike through WG Jones State Forest, where the only agenda is to be present, make space for reflection, and connect beneath the full moon. This experience draws on Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, inviting you to slow down and engage your senses in nature.
We'll begin at Galindo's Coffee + Elixirs before making our way into WG Jones State Forest in The Woodlands, TX. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, along with a light jacket or layers, as the evening air can turn cool after sunset.
Cost: $26 per person
Age limit: 13+
