About the event

Healing in Motion: Nature as Co-Therapist. Explore the foundations of nature-assisted psychotherapy and the relationship between people, nature, and healing. Through movement, sensory engagement, metaphor, and reflection, clinicians will experience how the natural environment can become an active therapeutic partner.

Learn how nature can support nervous-system regulation, emotional processing, resilience, and meaning-making. Topics include grounding and sensory engagement, distress tolerance, therapeutic metaphors, spiritual connection and belonging, and ethical considerations for outdoor therapy.

This training is the prerequisite for Nature-Assisted Play Therapy and Nature-Assisted EMDR.
