About the event
Step into a creative experience designed to calm the mind, encourage connection, and help you reconnect with yourself through hands-on craftsmanship.
Leather Work in the Forest is a beginner-friendly leather crafting workshop led by local craftsman Mike for our Third Spaces community. This experience focuses on creativity as a meaningful outlet for holistic mental health and personal wellness. No prior leather working experience is needed.
During this workshop, participants will create their own handmade leather card holder using pre-cut leather pieces with stitching holes already prepared, making the class approachable and enjoyable for beginners. Mike will also provide a variety of leather colors and materials so every piece can feel unique and personal.
This workshop is intentionally designed to be relaxing, creative, and community-centered—offering a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and experience the grounding benefits of making something meaningful from start to finish.
What to expect: beginner-friendly instruction, all materials provided, a take-home card holder, and time to connect with others in a calm, supportive setting.
General admission: $15.00 per person (plus applicable ticket service fee).
