About the Event
Slow down, look closer, and let nature inspire you. Join Melanie Michaelchuk of Just Hyke, in collaboration with Happy Camper Therapy, for a welcoming workshop blending mindfulness, nature connection, and creativity.
Using leaves, twigs, stones, and other natural materials, we’ll create nature mandalas circular arrangements inspired by nature’s colors, shapes, and textures. Discover a simple practice you can return to at home while enjoying the opportunity to pause and create. No artistic experience is needed.
What participants will learn
- Simple ways to slow down and engage their senses.
- How to create a nature mandala using patterns, shapes, and textures.
- How to bring mindful attention to the creative process.
- Ways to enjoy natural materials respectfully, leaving living plants and wildlife undisturbed.
- Ideas for continuing the practice independently or with family.
Materials participants should bring
Comfortable clothing appropriate for the setting and a water bottle. A journal and a phone or camera to photograph their creation are optional.
