PEMF Therapy

Pulsating electromagnetic field · Pulse PEMF

PEMF is a revolutionary wellness modality that uses soothing pulsed electromagnetic fields to stimulate and exercise the body’s cells—also known as High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT), trusted worldwide to support natural healing and regulating abilities.

What is PEMF?

The earth emits a pulsing electromagnetic field at 7.8 hertz. This natural energy field, combined with around 8 million global lightning strikes per day, allows our planet to sustain life. Much like the Earth, our bodies are electromagnetic; our brains use electromagnetic signals to communicate with every bodily system. Science has shown that when our cells have enough electrical charge, the body is better equipped to heal itself.

PEMF is a holistic supplement that infuses the body with natural energy at the cellular level. Research on PEMF is ever-expanding because each body responds uniquely based on its needs.

At Happy Camper, PEMF is offered through Pulse equipment as part of Happy Camper Wellness—available as a standalone $50 / 60-minute session or, starting in July, complimentary with every in-office therapy session with an intern-level therapist on our team.

Sessions take place at our office settings in the Greater Houston area. Standalone PEMF visits and therapy-plus-PEMF combinations are scheduled by request while a dedicated booking link is being finalized.

Pulse Regulation Session

A private hour to settle your nervous system—with Pulse PEMF, supportive sound, and optional color light.

A Pulse Regulation Session is dedicated time to relax while Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy supports your body’s natural regulating abilities. Sessions are private. Your therapist will check in with you during the hour, and you can pause or stop at any time.

Many clients schedule a Pulse Regulation Session before or after talk therapy to help their nervous system settle. Sessions are also available as a standalone wellness offering for new and existing clients, and are appropriate for ages 10 and up.

Bilateral stimulation music

Each Pulse Regulation Session includes bilateral stimulation music—gentle alternating left-right sound that can support grounding, calm, and nervous system balance. It is offered as a soothing companion to PEMF, not as trauma processing or a replacement for EMDR therapy.

Color light therapy

We may also offer color glasses during your session. Color light therapy (sometimes called syntonics) uses specific colors to support a calming or energizing effect, depending on your treatment goals. This is a supportive wellness pairing with Pulse PEMF—not a medical vision therapy protocol.

Pulse PEMF

The benefits

Energy + productivity

By re-energising cell membranes, PEMF improves levels of oxygen and the cellular energy molecule, ATP. The result is more energy, drive and stamina, less fatigue and brain fog, and simply getting much more done in the day.

Stress, anxiety & depression

PEMF helps dampen the stress and anxiety cycle in which the nervous system is very agitated and stress hormones create havoc in the body. There is also a feel-good effect—and as trans-cranial therapy, PEMF has FDA approval for treatment of severe depression.

Sleep

Almost everyone reports better sleep. Constant sleep loss has been linked to heart damage, mental instability, danger when driving, and weight gain.

Wellness

Using PEMF boosts development of immune system cells and limits factors involved in inflammation and pain. Blood circulation, metabolism and nutrient absorption are all improved, and the body is better equipped to deal with wear and tear.

Ageing

PEMF boosts levels of chondrocytes (for cartilage flexibility), osteoblasts (for bone strength), collagen (for skin flexibility) and Human Growth Hormone (affecting skin tone, muscle growth, sex drive and joint flexibility)—in addition to its energy, immune and circulatory effects.

Sports

Pre-exercise PEMF boosts levels of intramuscular oxygen and ATP, reducing lactic acid build-up and increasing performance intensity and endurance. It also helps deal with and prevent strains, sprains and even fractures from regular sports or exercise.
