What to expect

Professional care in grounding outdoor settings

Nature-based therapy at Happy Camper Therapy is grounded in evidence-based care, delivered in thoughtfully chosen outdoor and non-traditional settings.

Clients can expect structured sessions led by licensed clinicians—including adult nature-based EMDR that follows established protocols while using the calming benefits of nature to support regulation and focus. For children, therapy remains child-centered and developmentally responsive, allowing movement and play to support engagement and healing.

We use proven modalities such as EMDR, play therapy, sandtray, and family systems work, all adapted intentionally for nature-based environments. Treatment goals are clearly defined, individualized, and supported through ongoing collaboration, safety, and clinical oversight.

Our approach offers a therapeutic experience that feels natural and grounding—while remaining professional, intentional, and clinically sound.
